One-to-one Songwriting Session

Service Description

Research-informed one-to-one songwriting sessions exploring contemporary songwriting practice, creative workflow, and collaborative creative-development methodologies for emerging songwriters, artists, producers, and music students. Sessions combine reflective creative practice with contemporary songwriting development, exploring areas including melodic construction, “melodic maths,” hook-first songwriting methodologies, topline writing, lyrical ideation, genre hybridity, improvisation, collaborative songwriting systems, and contemporary songwriting structure. Drawing from tertiary-level songwriting education, reflective creative-practice research, and internationally informed songwriting approaches, sessions may also explore advanced harmony, chord progressions, rhythmic phrasing, arrangement, production-led songwriting, vocal production, vocal editing, notation, DAW workflow development, and analytical approaches to contemporary songwriting practice. Sessions are shaped around individual creative interests, artistic identity, songwriting workflow, and creative-development goals, with optional integration of piano skills, music theory, production techniques, vocal performance development, and songwriting portfolio exploration.
